Fun to be back on Newgrounds and checking out the creators I follow(ed). Loved the pun of Santa-Slash!

This still lives in my head sometimes. Good job, mate

Returned to this masterpiece, almost in time for its 11-year anniversary

I still sometimes think about this classic

My god, I love this! Here I am, clapping like a retarded seal without any sound able to leave me.

This flash is much better than the quality I usually see on the frontpage. The animation was very, very pleasant, the plot was building very well, and the anticlimax got me off-guard, what doesn't really happen too often.

Art/Animation: 9/10
Really pleasant to watch. It's smooth, yet simplistic, yet advanced. The animation looks excellent and the bodies of both the women and the crab look natural. The body language is fantastic and the last image is also great.

Music/sound: 10/10
Fitted perfectly, sounds were excellent. 'Nuff said.

Story: 9/10
Great. It's short, but that did not matter. It got me and I insta-faved it.

All with all, you get a 10/10 and a 5/5 from me. Great job; keep it up!

Well...? I'm waiting for the full thing!

Before I go into review details, I first want to say that Elfen Lied was one of the best manga I've ever read. The concept of the vector arms was original and most of the characters were great to have in the series.

The flashback part was well put in the middle of the story and I must say, you've animated that quite impressive:

Art/Animation: 8/10

No bullshit, you just animated the (emotionally) most brutal part and did a fine job at that. I disagree that it looks old, this looks just fine. The colors 'made sense' and the emotions were (fairly) well drawn. I'd like to mention, however that the movement of the... loose bodyparts and the blood were done a little unnatural. I'm not sure how hard it is to make that more realistic, but that's a slight reminder from me.

Music/Adio: 9/10
Not THAT bad quality and it fitted well. I would have liked some more music (at the silent parts, apart from the bloodshed you can make the music softer).

I'm not gonna review concept, since this is from another story and it's a teaser, so here's the total score:

Overall that makes an 8,5/10 rounded up to a 9/10 and a 4/5. Keep it up and please send me a PM with the link to the full version, because I'll definately forget to check... Sorry :P

wow, im impressed with the review, thankyou so much for understanding C:
thanx alot for the tips, it was really helpful

Love that detail.

Very nicely done, sir. Really nice.

Art/Animation: 8/10
Nothing TOO impressive, but the atmosphere was just perfect. At first I was thinking, 'Oh not another 'scary' flash', but I let it come over me and then how you made it seem that tails' doll came out of the screen was a fantastic detail, even though I noticed immedeately that the screen suddenly was 'smaller'.

Audio: 10/10
Fitted perfectly, added more tension and is an amazing piece on itself, I'm gonna check out NemesisTheory out later.

Concept: 9/10
As mentioned in the art, great idea to make Tails' doll come out of the screen. Also, the whole tension-building was a good thing to do.

Overall, thus a 9/10 average and a 5/5. Well done, congrats of Daily 5th place and underdog.

A dastardly well made flash!

I loved all the small details and of course, the (my god so mature) humor.

Art: 10/10
Nothing to improve here, it was smooth and simple. Also well done on the emotions.

Music: 9/10
Fitted really great. Royalty-free music is always a good option, well chosen.

Humor/concept: 8/10
I love all the small details, as mentioned before and the, at first very dry humor, which ended with a small modern... twist. Well done.

All together it's a 9/10 and so a 5/5. Very well done

thinking-man responds:

Thanks, but good animation?

Mweh, mweh.

Seeing this is also a music video by you, Sexual-Lobster I think I could've expected more.

Art/animation: 9/10
As usual it's amazing. The art is great, the animation is smooth. Also the emotions and mouth-movement were good.

Music: 6/10
Not quite an engineering feat, but it's okay, maybe it's better to add a less subtle bass. I know that with the concept it's not that easy but...

Which brings me to:

Concept: 4/10
A chimp. A heist. Okay, I get it, it's random.... But slightly too random for my good.
I don't think at all that you might have the worst thing that could happen to an artist (yes, you are an artist :P), lack of inspiration, but I think it's better to concentrate on other kinds of animation first and then if you suddenly get struck by other inspiration, make another fantastic music video like The dance of the manwhore.

Overall I'd give you a ~6/10 and thus a 3/5.
Keep making new stuff, you're one of NG's best animators at the moment. I'll be expecting something great next time!

Hm... Hm...

Let me say this first: not your best.
Okay, now that that's out of the way, I'll bring up the actual review:

Art: 9/10
Just great, smooth animation, the simplified animation was cute and the drawings were outstanding, I see you keep improving.

Music: 8/10
Unfortunally, almost no music was heard, what I heard was juuuuust a little bit too soft, but it was good. Well done, Chris O'Neill.

Concept/humor: 6/10
Mwah, pokémon isn't the most original thing, and you didn't dig out that much of pokémon itself (okay, that would take ages, but the flash did seem lacking a bit).

Other than that, great job on the voice acting. Really good to hear such 'convincing' voices for a change.

Overall, I'd say another great job done, the concept did seem... less good than your previous flashes, but everything was compesated by the amazing artwork, music and voice acting: ~8/10 and 4/5

Keep it up!
